Let’s get right to it. the goal of this blog is to teach myself and you about online passive income, online marketing, and affiliate income.
When I’m not trying to make a living off of online passive income, I work full time as a Director of Rehabilitation and a Physical Therapist Assistant. The job is rewarding, but it is 9 to 5 and can be incredibly stressful knowing that you may be the difference between a person being able to walk again or not.
On June 30th, 2015 I was married to my love. We were fortunate enough to be able to be wed on the beach in St. Thomas USVI. It was absolutely beautiful and we didn’t want to leave. We had discussed figuring out how to move there, but online searches showed that there are not many opening for either of our professions. On our last day, we were doing some shopping and an opportunity to move slapped us in the face, as a store owner mentioned that he was looking to sell his business. We saw this as a calling that maybe this may be the way to stay, however, a quick glance in the bank account showed us that we needed to do some more saving.
I started looking online and realized that for many years I’ve kicked myself for not starting SOMETHING online. We kicked around ideas and now have a few irons in the fire, some even look like they’re taking off a bit but still not anywhere near enough to stop working 9 to 5. I researched more and more on affiliate income, online passive income, marketing, social marketing, etc. I’ve learned quite a bit but still have a LONG way to go. The one thing I have learned is that while there are a few people that hit it big overnight, that overall your expectations should be MUCH lower than what many are trying to sell you.
Relentlessly Fair was started to teach you how to start an online business, the steps I am taking, the mistakes I’ve made and continue to make while trying to get me and my wife back to St. Thomas. There is no hype, you probably will not get rich overnight, but with hard work, focus, and a certain aggressiveness, you can start to make some extra money. And from what I have learned with time and growth, you can eventually quit your 9 to 5 with passive income.
