FBA Fulfillment By Amazon
This week has been quite a turn of events for me as I finally took the plunge into the FBA craze that seems to be sweeping the community. I have been looking into it for a month or two, but was scared to pull the trigger. However Scott Voekler over at The Amazing Seller is the guy responsible for getting me to finally pull the trigger. I didn’t go Private Label yet as I have a product in mind, I just need a bit more capital to get that going, so I found an item on aliexpress that fit the need nicely for right now. Similar items are selling in the $20 to $30 range and this item costs about $1 shipped from china. If everything goes well, I hope to clear about $1000 a month in profit on this and based on the research and sales of other items in this category, shouldn’t be that extreme of a goal. We’ll see when I go live with it in about 3 weeks. Bottom line is this, this product gets me in the game with minimal investment and will be used primarily as a learning experience.
This continues to be the main focus and I’ve narrowed it down to 2 that I’m working on which includes this one right here. My wife on the other hand has jumped right in to getting hers started. The competition is lower than I expected it to be with only Wikipedia being the big boy on the list. She’s already worked out an amazing amount of content and I can see an e-book in the not so distant future as well as a podcast. The biggest thing holding us back is our severe lack of web design knowledge.
Fantasy Football Mastermind Group
This past weekend I had my Fantasy Football draft with my buddies, and out of the discussions we had, three of us may have stumbled into a small business idea. We’re going to give it a go and see if we can get something started in the next week. It’s a little too late to expect any real success for this for this season, but I think with the right promotion we can score a decent chunk of change for next year’s session.
